Thank you so much for all the beautiful symbols that you entrusted to me. I didn’t have any idea as to what you would choose or where this would lead. You have touched me with the meaning and thought behind each item. Being able to share my thoughts with you leading up to the trip is part of the journey itself. Although nervous, I am looking forward to the adventure and its unfolding. I am also carrying a St. James medal given to me by Matthew and Charlie for Mother’s Day (it is on the very bottom). His resting spot of Santiago de Compostela seems a long way off, but I’ll get there!

Note: I just wanted to quickly check in and let you know that I arrived safely. What a beautiful city! I’ve been able to explore a bit and take some pictures.
